double flared 00g plugs?

my ears are stretched to 00g, but i still have the tapers in. i want to put in tunnels i got, but theyre flared on both sides and i cant seem to get them in. is there a special way to put them in that i dont know about?
Double flared eyelets are horrible for stretching. It’s because you would basically have to stretch twice. The flared parts are a size larger (about 3/8″ or 7/16″) then the middle (00 gauge).
Your best bet would be to go buy some single or no flared plugs/eyelets, unless you want to end up with nasty blow-outs from doing two stretches in one sitting, ultimately skipping a gauge. That and removing the DF plugs in a new stretch is very difficult, and could also piss off your lobes.
